R&R Drum Solo Friday - The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corp

In Honor of U.S. Constitution Day and our True Heroes, our R&R DSF is more of a DGF (Drum Group Friday), but it gets the point across and still acomplishes the goal. These guys do some great stuff.

Click past the break for several videos and more information.

Steve Moore - R&R - Mad

Remember that Drummer with the Mad Twitch from a few days ago? We'll that drummer is none other than Steve Moore, the self-proclaimed "drummer in the wrong gig." He's actually a rather accomplished drummer with not only a Mad Twitch, but Mad Skilz.

Click past the break to witness what are, perhaps, some of the finest examples of marching snare solo drumming.

Probably best known for his role as the "Visual Timekeeper" for Stryper, Robert has played in several bands, including a Rod Stewart tribute band. However, no one can ever mistake his outlandish kits for another drummer or his heart for anything other than belonging to God.

R&R Drum Solo Friday - Ryuga Uchida

Was it Marty McFly that said the best stuff is made in Japan? Sadly that's not been the case for some time, but Ryuga Uchida just might give Japan the resurgence of inspiration it needs to pull out of the funk it's in.

Ryuga is only 9 years old and has already been captured playing some difficult drumming routines. Some people might say: "Man, if this guy is already playing this good, what hope do I have? I might as well quit. Ryuga's got it covered." But if this little guy can't encourage you to take your love for drumming off the shelf, then nothing can.
