Alexx Calise

Another definition of a hero is someone who chases their dream no matter what and that is exactly what this weeks' R&R Hero of the Week is doing. Alexx Calise, a Fort Laurderdale native, is in LA chasing her dream to be a rockstar. Alexx started at an early age writing songs and playing guitar. She has had her eye on her dream for a long time. Mew - No More Stories Are Told Today

I did not think they could do it again, but with Mew's fifth LP, No More Stories... (to be released August 25th), they just got me all frazzled with joy.  With this recent addition they have absolutely solidified their place on my favorite artists list.
