The David Crowder Band - Shine - on ROCKandREVIEW.com

Thanks to some semi-transparent Lite-Brite black-sheets, well over a million Lite-Brite pegs and the 80+ person crew who spent some 2,000+ hours pegging out stops for the motion on the David Crowder Band's new video, "SMS (Shine)," we can enjoy the colors without the addiction, the tax or the shame of being a toking Giant's Fan in San Fran.

No, it's no personal mandate, but it's one amazing video, a pretty sweet story that just might pull tears out of your eyes and a great song. Click past the break and check it out.

Nailed Promise

We've no clue who this band is or just why they want to flood our inbox with mp3's and concert dates and press releases, but we suspect it has something to do with ROCK. Apparently they were on P.O.D.'s indie label Rescue Records at one point and have put out somewhere between 2 and 15 albums, but we can only find two listed on iTunes, Realize and Sink Your Teeth ep.

CPT Robert Vallejo II - USA - ROCKandREVIEW.com

"2 years ago today my whole life changed. He was not coming home. Half of my heart died right along with the love of my life. Such a great man and best husband gone too soon. I'll never understand it. Today is a day of remembrance and honor to a great hero. I love you and will forever carry you in my heart." - Hillary Vallejo

On this U.S. Constitution Day: Take a moment to LOVE your loved ones. Take a moment to HOLD your memories. Take a moment in THANKSGIVING. ...for all that you have and all that you take for granted. This, the finest example of a Hero, a friend, a father, a brother, a son, a husband, gave the ultimate price. We miss you Robert!

Roger Dean - The Ladder

On this day in history something happened. That something could have been anything. It could have been nothing. Either way, I don't know what it is. I am also not sure if anything happened on this day in history that relates in anyway to what I am posting about now. It might have. It might have not. But one thing is for certain. Somewhere in history Roger Dean began his amazing career.

Brandon Flowers - R&R - Swallow It

In case you missed it like I did, Brandon Flower's new single "Swallow It" is available for download now from all the major providers (it was released on August 24th, 2010). The song struck me as unpolished at first compared to "Crossfire," but within a few listens and after a scan of the lyrics I realized what I should have known from the onset - it's on purpose.
