Mêlée's got their new album, The Masquerade out today, October 5th, 2010 at digital and retail outlets.
They've also been selected as the iTunes Free Single of the Week, with their song "The Ballad of You and I," and the new album can be had for only $6.99 from the same place.
Mêlée is a pleasant mix of The Script meets Keane on a daytime movie set in LA. Sometimes their sound can be a bit too "Hollywood." However, The Masquerade is a solid effort that is full of meaning and purpose and I think this is an album that their fans are going to find to be their best yet.

If you've got some money to throw away, then perhaps you'd like an OK Go trash can. It's white with blue letters and signed by the members of the band. And you can get it now for only $60 bucks. You'll also get a special digital download of Of the Blue Color of the Sky: Extra Nice Edition. The Extra Nice Edition contains loads of exclusives, demos and of course the full album. All sales of these items go directly to support the members of the band, as there is no record label involved.

It seems that from KISS' point of view God not only gave Rock and Roll to you, but he also gave HDTV to you too, with limited edition KISS insignia plastered all over the case.
Some of the major joys that I have experienced have come from music that
I discover years after its original release date. This is the music
that was probably listened to by all hipsters of the time and then
readily discarded a month later. However, this is music that still
deserves love today. So I have decided to periodically update with a
couple albums and brief reviews of something that you may have missed in
the past. Now, I know that some of you may already be familiar with
what I share, but oh well - maybe I will show someone something they'll
love!
