Some of the major joys that I have experienced have come from music that
I discover years after its original release date. This is the music
that was probably listened to by all hipsters of the time and then
readily discarded a month later. However, this is music that still
deserves love today. So I have decided to periodically update with a
couple albums and brief reviews of something that you may have missed in
the past. Now, I know that some of you may already be familiar with
what I share, but oh well - maybe I will show someone something they'll
love!

Doron Giat has to be one of the best drummers in the East. His
clarity and style speak volumes to his ability to control sticks and his
feet. Everything he does is so well placed and seems to have been put
there with careful thought and purpose.

A while ago I had posted the news about The Smashing Pumpkins' new project entitled Teargarden by Kaleidyscope.
Instead of the traditional LP of 10-16 tracks, Billy Corgan has decided
to split up the songs and releasing them over short amounts of time.
This was specifically engineered to cater to changing listener habits -
which is ingenious. This gives a them the potential of staying on
listener's minds and ipods much more often. Additionally, these songs
are given gratis (free) - which I do not know where they are getting revenue from - but I applaud them for this gesture.
But I just don't get it...
