Apparently the Arcade Fire is getting close to releasing their follow up to Neon Bible in the next few weeks.   If you check their website they have a neat flash player that lets you preview two new songs "Suburbs" and "Month of May."  I am hoping that the wait will end soon. 

The player is in the shape of a record that you must manually spin with your cursor to listen to the snippet.  Really, the snippet is minimal and does not give away much about the two songs - kind of a let down.  But mostly, this serves as a "hey guys, get ready!"  I do not really have a critique of the samples but I do like the sound of "Suburbs."

I checked their tour dates and they are apparently goin' international at the moment.  They are slated to perform at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this upcoming August.  Anyway, have fun joining me in anticipation!
