Are you Listening? Does it sound like The Cranberries? It sure does.

It's kinda bitter-sweet when lead singers go off and make an album that sounds just like the band that broke up.

It brings to mind nasty dealings in outsourcing the American worker in favor of an overseas slave and then daring to call it American.
While she doesn't mention The Cranberries, if you heard this on the radio you'd certainly think it was.

That being said, this is as good an album as The Cranberries ever put out. Punching hard on songs like October and When We Were Young.
This is an upbeat album that is full of thought and superb music production. Branching away from her former group on songs like Ordinary Day where thoughts of her first-born translate into a softly happy pop single is a great sign of things to come. The album actually did pretty well here hitting 77 on the charts, but I bet you didn't hear a bit of it. Well, that's why www.ROCKandREVIEW.com is here.

She's got a new album in the works and is planing a world tour for 2009. Great Irish material that is few and far between.
