On her 2008 debut, alternative-pop artist Lenka Kripac steps out from
her role in the Australian ensemble Decoder Ring to unveil a highly
melodic and playful solo album. Backed by a small army of session
musicians, Lenka comes across as a perky, radio-friendly
version of peers such as Regina Spektor and Sia, as best revealed on
the gleeful "Skipalong" and the vibrant "Dangerous and Sweet."
