Wake up the nation is paul weller, formally of the mod/punk band The Jam, tenth studio album. this album tends to be a great fusion of muliple genre. For instance; the song "moonshine" has a nice 60's invasion rock with hit of the nice fender rhodes piano, like the doors. You can also here 80's new wave sound and just good ole rock guitar rifts. It seems to be alot more emotion in the vocals on this album. There are some great callobrations on this album, especially Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine on 7&3 is the strikers name. Over all this album has a wierd vibe that seems to work.
