Drums of Fire on the Street - ROCKandREVIEW.com

So we've been doing the R&R Drum Solo Friday for some time now and we've had some interest in street performers. You know the ones who use whatever they can find to make a beat. Some of them do some amazing things with some real scraps. Take a bucket or two, some pans and any other noisy bit of junk and you just might have yourself a recipe for an incredible performance, if the sticks are in the right hands that is...

Here are a few people we were able to find. Let us know if you know of any more.

Hey Matthew...........most of these guys are amazing. My favorites are the best in the east coast, the world's fastest and street drum. Can you imagine what these guys could do with the real McCoy. Can you imagine what Street Drum could do with a Ludwig kit. You know, it surprises me that Ludwig or Tama didn't sign one of these guys to promote their drums. They're sure better than most of the drummers that show up in MTV videos. Better than most of the drummers that are accepted at music schools for that matter. Maybe that's one reason why we are subjected to so much mediocre music. The college recruiters are looking in the wrong places for talent.
