Tourniquet New Album

The great multi-metal group, Tourniquet is less than 30 hours away from closing a kickstarter deal that will fund their next album.

It's been several years since Luke (Easter - Vocals), Aaron (Guerra - Guitars) and Ted (Kirkpatrick - Drums) have been in the studio to work on a new Tourniquet album and thanks to almost 400 backers, they now have the opportunity to do so. If you've been wanting your opportunity to help finance some face-melting metal, then now is your chance.

The Tourniquet kickstarter program is already 121% funded as of this writing and we have about 30 hours left to go. This means that the next Tourniquet album is a definite lock and that all of the pledged funds will be released to the band for the production of their next album.

There's still a lot in it for you when you pledge and funds over the 100% mark go directly to the production of the album.

From getting your own vocal on a track of the next album, to assorted signed gear, to the guitars used to record the album, to spending the day on drummer, Ted Kirkpatrick's boat in Milwaukee (Ted's Hometown), to owning a true piece of multi-metal history, The Original Artwork for Psycho Surgery, there's a load of good stuff in the fan packages you can get just by pledging your support.

The forthcoming Tourniquet album is said to be produced by Neil Kernon, who curiously enough has worked on everything from Hall & Oats to Cannibal Corpse. Neil worked on three Hall & Oats album's, Voices, Private Eyes and H20, helping to make them the all-time most successful duo in the history of American pop music. He's also had a hand in Rage for Order, one of Queensrÿche's greatest efforts, and music by Autograph, Michael Bolton, Judas Priest, Jon Anderson of Yes, Peter Gabriel and Dokken as well as around 500 other influential albums.

Neil Kernon is now working with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Macabre and Nile. It suffices to say, the upcoming Tourniquet album is going to ROCK!
